Role Overview & Responsibilities

• New Business Development: Prospect and close new shipping accounts within your territory through a structured weekly outreach cadence — 15 cold calls, 8 in-person visits, and 3 formal shipping analysis presentations per week — converting net-new business prospects into active UPS accounts that contribute incremental weekly package volume to your territory's revenue baseline.
• Shipping Solutions Consultation: Conduct detailed shipping profile analyses for prospects and existing accounts — comparing their current carrier cost-per-pound, transit-time performance, and damage claim rates against UPS service equivalents using the UPS CIE (Customer Information Exchange) tool — presenting a data-backed switching or optimization recommendation that quantifies the financial benefit of expanding their UPS shipping relationship.
